Course Information
The course of Corporate Finance 1 is designed as a general subject for the bachelor's degree program in Finance and Banking to provide theoretical knowledge as a basis for the study of specialized subjects. This course equips students with a general understanding of the following: Corporate finance goals and decisions, reading and analyzing corporate financial statements, currency prices and the model of discounted cash flow, profit, risk and capital asset pricing model, bond valuation, stock valuation, project investment analysis and decision making, financial leverage, theories on the capital structure and dividend policy. This course has not yet delved into a particular subject of corporate finance and commercial banking, but it is important to provide a rationale for students to gain further knowledge from specialized subjects later.
