This course of Grammar is for those who have a basic knowledge of English vocabulary and intermediate grammar after finishing the English learning program of high school. The course provides English grammar skills, from basic to advanced levels, helping students review English grammar to prepare for the TOEFL, IELTS or TOEIC test. In this course, students will learn about English phrases, classified by their structure and their purpose, main clauses and subordinate clauses, including noun clauses, adjective clauses and adverb clauses, and the four types of sentences classified by their structure, including simple sentences, compound sentences, complex sentences and compound-complex sentences. In addition, learners also learn to identify and avoid four common mistakes in writing, such as lack of parallel structure, sentences with misplaced or dangling modifier, run-on sentences, and punctuation errors.
